ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
CHAPEL LANE, BINGLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 1226) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of gas works to be executed on or near Chapel Lane, Bingley has made the above named Order the effect of which will be to introduce the following restrictions:-
Chapel Lane - no person shall proceed in the length of Chapel Lane from its junction with Main Street to a point outside No. 5 Chapel Lane Chapel Lane - Atemporary suspension of the One Way Traffic Flow effected by item number 53 in Schedule 1A to the (Moving Traffic)(Consolidation) Order 2009 will be in effect throughout the duration of this Order as shown in the Schedule below:-

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order will be available via Chapel Lane (unaffected section), Ferncliffe Road, Main Street and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation at 08:00 hours on the 23rd March 2020 and remains in force until 18:00 hours on the 3rd April 2020 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 19th day of March 2020.
