EGYPT ROAD, THORNTON

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO1218) ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works to be executed on or near Egypt Road, Thornton has made the above named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Egypt Road, Bradford from a point outside the Mill House to a point outside Jacobs Cottage.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order will be available via Egypt Road(unaffected section), Dean Lane, Old Allen Road, Black Dyke Lane and vice versa.

The Order comes into operation at 08:00 hours on 11th March 2020 and remains in force until 18:00 hours on 12th March 2020.
