ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

GREEN END, CLAYTON, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 1040) ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works proposed to be executed on or near Green End, Clayton, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Green End from its junction with Clayton Lane to its junction with The Avenue.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Green End (unaffected section), Clayton Lane, The Avenue and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect between 09:30 hours and 15:30 hours on 7th July 2019 and continue in effect on the following date of 14th July 2019 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
