Joe Hendrie
Knaresborough Town 1 Otley Town 2
. A stunning second-half goal from Scott Cater enabled Town to secure the three West Yorkshire League Premier Division points.
Cater received the ball 35 yards out and ran towards the penalty area before hitting a screaming shot into the top corner. It was a goal worthy of winning any game.
Cater’s second goal of the game crowned a good fightback by Town who had found themselves 1-0 down after 32 minutes.
His first goal had come when his cross from the left deceived the defence and drifted into the net.
Winger Joe Hendrie was a constant menace for Town while centre backs Jamie Simms and Jimmy Davy played impressively.
