Ilkley Dynamo 3 Horsforth Old Ball 1
DYNAMO began at a sprint and barely let up, pressing hard throughout the Wharfedale Triangle Premier Division game.
Their high-speed passing and surge of confidence was rewarded when Geno White left his marker to hit home a fine strike to put the home side 1-0 ahead.
The entire team seemed to fizz with energy and the two outstanding central defenders, Jake Norton and Stuart Blues were always alert in repelling any threat
Benji Claydon showed a deft display of attacking craft, going close on a number of occasions, before Henry Barrow headed home an accurate cross from Red Bolton to make it 2-0.
Dynamo continued to battle hard to maintain their advantage with both Sam Webster and Oli Blair dominating in midfield and helping to create numerous chances to ensure Dynamo always looked the more dangerous.
Horsforth crept back into the game with a late strike before the outstanding White doubled his tally to secure a deserved victory.
