Keighley Athletic 7 Ilkley Dynamo 2
DYNAMO'S recent improvement in form came to a shuddering halt against unbeaten Keighley Athletic at Marley Stadium.
The home side were in impressive form against a reshuffled Dynamo side.
The Ilkley side worked hard throughout but were outclassed for long periods against their confident hosts.
Simon Ogilvie, making his debut for Dynamo, impressed with some fine touches and Dom Grimes crowned another confident display with his first goal of the season.
However, Dynamo failed to stem some powerful clinical finishing from an experienced home team and were always second best.
Alex McPherson scored a consolation second goal for the visitors but it was a case of too little too late.
This Sunday, Dynamo, holders of the Wharfedale & District Sunday Cup, visit Esholt to play Shipley Town Reserves in a first round tie.
