VENTUS United avenged their defeat in last season's final by knocking holders Ilkley Dynamo out of the Wharfedale & District FA Sunday Cup.
They scored twice early in the pulsating second-round contest. as they sought revenge
Ed Hainsworth and Struan Connor battled hard in midfield, but Dynamo rarely looked capable of mounting a heroic comeback until a late on.
Lee McGowan had a goal ruled out for an infringement and Alex McPherson had a shot cleared off the line.
Dynamo were attempting to reach the final for a third-successive season but Ventus had the edge in a competitive game.
Over the 47 years the competition has been played, Ventus United have won the Cup on five occasions and Ilkley Dynamo four times.
