Ilkley Town 4 Beeston St Antony's 1

ILKLEY had players missing due to the Bank Holiday so manager Simon Armstrong made a tactical change for the visit of the league leaders.

Despite going behind midway through the first half to a Stephen Crawford goal, the players showed great character.

They got their reward as just before half-time when the impressive Toby Harris turned his marker before curling the ball into the top corner.

The second half was much the same. Town remained resilient, organised and hard working with Beeston struggling to break them down.

Matt Whitehead grabbed Town's second goal before Harris added a third to stun the visitors.

Matt Whitehead capped his excellent individual performance in the final minute with his second goal and Town's fourth to earn three fully deserved points which put them in fourth place.
