Ilkley Dynamo 1 Shipley Town 0

DYNAMO continue to improve and re-build with another four players having recently signed for the club.

Two of these, Sam Westerman and Sam Webster both gave impressive performances at the heart of the Dynamo rearguard as the side are not only tougher but much more resilient than of late.

The game remained a stalemate for long periods despite some neat play in midfield by Danny Williams and the creative Jonny Bowers.

Good chances were carved out on a regular basis with Danny Bryan particularly effective, thanks to some strong forays down the wing.

Each team defended well with Shipley penned back for much of the last quarter. It was an outstanding home team performance with Michael Bloom giving another powerful contribution, in a match which looked destined for a complete deadlock.

However, Dynamo were not about to settle for a draw and a curling free kick from Ollie Mason into the goal area was parried away by Matt Keen, the visitors keeper but the alert Danny Bell was on hand with a crisp finish in the 85th minute to give Dynamo a late victory.
