Ilkley Dynamo 6 Cullingworth 5

DYNAMO produced another outstanding second-half performance to claim the points in an eventful and competitive Wharfedale Triangle Premier Division game.

Gale-force conditions helped to give the visitors an early advantage as they dominated the exchanges and scored two quick goals.

After Cullingworth added a third goal, Dynamo still kept their composure and battled hard against the elements.

The classy Benji Claydon skipped down the wing and side-stepped a number of defenders before delivering a pin-point cross for Struan Connor to strike home.

After the break, the home side utilised the wind to up their game. Richard Bryan, Stuart Blues and the excellent Geno White exchanged sharp passes before Lee McGowan rifled a low drive home to make it

3-2.

McGowan soon equalised thanks to a fine solo run and a powerful shot.

Another notable captain's performance from Connor was crowned with him scoring two more impressive goals to give him his second hat-trick of the season.

Henry Barrow went close on a couple of occasions before McGowan completed a deserved hat trick.

Cullingworth replied with two more goals as the game flowed from end to end, but the Dynamo clung on for a well-deserved win.
