Ovenden West Riding stayed on course for a West Riding County Amateur League double when they won their Premier Division Cup quarter-final 4-2 against Salts.

Damian Randall (2), John Booth and Carlton Pownall netted for the league champions.

Hunsworth took one step nearer their double when first-half goals from Jamie Bairstow and Ryan Templeman gave the Division One champions a 2-1 victory, Liam Reilly netting Lower Hopton’s consolation.

Hunsworth will play either Wakefield City or Overthorpe SC, who meet tomorrow night, in the Division One Cup final next Saturday.

Tyersal completed their Premier Division season with a 4-2 victory at Hall Green United, with substitute Shane Pogson netting twice to add to first-half strikes from Ryun Metcalfe and Tony Busfield.

Wakefield City finished their Division One season in third place after beating Wibsey 2-1, with Jay Hall and Ryan Southward scoring for Wakefield, while Danny O’Donnell netted for Wibsey, who will play their final game on Wednesday night at Steeton Reserves.
