Ilkley Dynamo 6 FC Boston Spa 1

Dynamo secured their place in the last 16 of the West Riding FA Sunday Cup with a comfortable win over their Harrogate Claro League opponents.

Dynamo produced an outstand- ing performance and made short work of their visitors.

Some sustained early pressure, coupled with plenty of slick approach work, helped to maintain their superb recent run of good form.

Both teams had hit the bar before leading marksman Danny Hender son, full of energy and pace, finished off some creative play with two quick goals.

The visitors were continually pegged back thanks to another consistent team effort.

Sam Jacomb and Michael Bloom, were full of concentration at the heart of the Dynamo defence, and helped to block out the occasional threat to their goal.

Stand out contributions from midfielders Danny Bott and Danny Kenna enable Dynamo to use the flanks productively.

The hard-working Danny Bryan added a third goal before the clinical and incisive passing of Craig Bentham resulted in the award of a penalty, which he comforably despatched himself to make it 4-0.

It was one-way traffic against a tired defence and another battling performance from Chris Holmes was rewarded when he added two more goals to make it 6-0.

A late consolation goal from Boston Spa made the final score 6-1.

Dynamo will visit Stanningley Albion, Leeds, in the Fourth Round on January 5. This week they entertain Wharfedale Triangle League leaders Crossflatts.
