Any young footballers who would like to be considered for the Wharfedale FA under-17s squad are being asked to put their names forward.
Wharfedale will play five group games against other districts within the West Riding FA and if successful take part in semi-finals and a final at the West Riding County FA headquarters at Woodlesford.
Players need to be under-17as at September 1 2013 and be registered with a team within the Wharfedale FA area.
A trial game will be played against Ilkley Juniors under-17s on September 11 so any player wishing to take part should make contact as early as possible.
Wharfedale FA Youth committee chairman Rachel O'Connor said: "We endeavour to organise games so as not to interfere with club games.
“These games give players the chance to gain county recognition and we would like our squad to be representative of the best talent available in Wharfedale.”
