ILKLEY Ladies got their busy summer programme off to a fine start with the April Monthly Medal.
A terrific score from Henrietta Wilman of 72 gave her victory, five shots ahead of second-placed Sally Runton.
Running alongside the monthly medal was the May Stableford, which was won by Gill Forster with 27 points. She was closely followed by Hazel Gore with 25 points.
The River Cup qualifier saw 33 ladies compete for a place in the final. The four qualifiers were Linda Burton with a winning score of 71, Wilman 74, Fiona Wood 75 and Gill Forster 75.
The River Cup final was won by Wood with a super score of 73, the runner up with a score of 81 was Wilman.
The May Monthly Medal was won by the lady captain Vicky Jordan with a score of 73, followed by Judith Booth with a 77.
Congratulations go to Wood and Liz Packett for qualifying to go through to the area finals of the Coronation Foursomes. They returned a great score of 38 points.
