GUISELEY musician Sam Jennings was certainly on song in Ripon Motor Club's Artie Ratcliffe Vase Novice Trial at Winksley on Sunday.
In an event that commemorates the Bradford factory trials star of the 1950s and 1960s, Jennings, on his Montesa, had to share top billing with Yeadon's John Lydamore in an event that attracted 45 riders.
Yeadon & Guiseley MC members Harry Turner, Henry Stephenson and Harry Hemmingway dominated Class C at Richmond Motor Club's Auto Cycle Union Oset British Class B, C and D Youth Trials Championship at Cogden Hall, Grinton, on Sunday.
This was the penultimate round, with Bracken Rocks on Sunday, October 11 wrapping up the series.
Meanwhile, Cookridge's British trials champion James Dabill was second in the final counting event at Guisborough on Sunday, being beaten by 19-year-old Welsh champion Iwan Roberts.
