THREE Ilkley Grammar School cross country teams have qualified for the national schools final.
The event was hosted by Mount St Mary's College, Sheffield, and IGS runners did extremely well in horrendous conditions.
The junior girls, junior boys and inter boys all finished third and means they will now line up at Newquay on November 29 for the English Schools finals, a fine achievement.
Bethan Morley produced their best performance as she came home second in the junior girls race. Dominic Coy 5th, and Robbie Matthews 7th, also achieved top ten finishes in the junior boys race.
Junior Girls: 2 Bethan Morley, 18 Rachel Scott, 23 Ella Shouler-Harris, 26 Emily Field, 29 Katie Meredith.
Junior Boys: 5 Dominic Coy, 7 Robbie Matthews, 15 Adam Mitchell, 23 Reuben Foster, 33 Ethan Whiteside, 47 James Patchett.
