Ilkley rider Dave Kinloch  finished tenth overall in the 2013-14 Yorkshire Points Cyclo Cross Winter Series.

Overall positions are based on each rider’s best seven rides in the nine-event series.

Despite being hampered by a knee injury for a good part of the cyclo cross season, Kinloch has performed well.

He produced a solid ride in the final counting event at Todmorden, where his 14th place was sufficient to earn him tenth overall in the veterans category.

Also at Todmordon Ian Cliffe showed his good form by finishing 11th, with Jonathan Breen 43rd and Andrew Hatfield 45th, all in the veterans race.

Seb Cliffe took another podium placing by finishing second in the under-10s. In the senior race, Lee Morley finished 19th in his first cyclo cross event.

On a very wet New Year’s Day Harrogate Nova CC promoted the first Ripley Castle Super Cross event. Doug Hart took a fine 16th place in the veteranss race out of 77 riders with Arthur Wilson finishing 33rd and Andrew Wilson 71st.
