England’s head coach Stuart Lancaster was the guestv speaker at a special fund raising event organised by Ilkley Rugby Club's players at Stacks Field.
Lancaster is a former Leeds Carnegie team-mate of the current Ilkley coach Rhys Morgan nd the two men remain good friends.
The evening proved a big success and raised £2,300 towards the new rehabilitation centre and gym being built at the ground.
Morgan said: "It was a great evening and Stuart certainly provided us with a lot of things to think about. We might even try and put some of his ideas into practice."
He added: "The club does a lot for the players and this was a chance for them to say thank you. We hope to organise a dinner and dance in the new year to raise some more money for the club."
