Ilkley’s rugby players were forced to watch a video nasty at training or Tuesday.
Head of rugby Rhys Morgan, left, made them study where they went wrong in Saturday’s 17-13 Yorkshire One defeat at Old Brodleians.
“We don’t normally do this in such depth but I felt we needed to take a close look at the game,” he said.
“We were erratic, we forced offloads in difficult positions and we didn’t set up the phases.
“In addition to that we chose to run a penalty in front of their posts and then had a free kick turned into a penalty for talking back to the referee which cost us three points.
“It was all so frustrating. We had scoring chances but didn’t take them.”
