Ed plays for county
Ed Armitage is celebrating rugby success. The former pupil at Westville House School, Ilkley, is currently at Sedbergh School and plays for Ilkley Rugby Club.
He was selected to play for Yorkshire U-15s at the beginning of this year and over the last few weeks Yorkshire U-l5s have enjoyed victories over both Cheshire and Lancashire.
In addition to being selected to play for Yorkshire, Ed has also been invited to join the Leeds Carnegie Rugby Academy.
Mark Dowling, Ed's coach at Ilkley Rugby Club, is delighted to see one of his players achieve the honour of playing for his county and hopes Ed will continue to make progress in the game.
