BEN Rhydding are flying high after producing a polished performance to beat the North Men's League Division One leaders.

Rhydding showed impressive discipline in their defending and made good connections going forward.

Will Musgrave put them ahead with a stunning corner.

For a significant spell, Torran Hockley in goal displayed some real quality in keeping Leeds out and was well supported by Matty Birch, Harry Appleby and Neil Sugden who mopped up lengthy periods of pressure.

Rhydding went 2-0 up with a fantastic team goal. Sugden attacked up the right hand side of the pitch and found Max Helme.

A great ball to the far post saw youngster Charlie Day net with a superb deflection.

Leeds were not ready to roll over and scored from a neat drag flick after a flurry of corners.

Rhydding replied immediately on the return, Andrew Lorimer driving into the circle and getting a shot off to make it 3-1.

Charlie Smith added a fourth goal when he finished of Callum Franks’ good work in the circle to expose the keeper.

Leeds took their keeper off and scored a last-gasp goal to make it 4-2 but were never going to avoid defeat.
