Ben Rhydding 2nds 0 Leeds Adel 2nds 4
A YOUNG but strong Ben Rhydding side came up against the experienced Yorkshire League Division One leaders.
Adel's great strength was their teamwork and ability to know where all the other players were running all game and which pass they were going to make. They also took their chances to notch four goals.
Alex Johnson made some fine saves in goal, as did his opposite number who denied a David Cutter thunderbolt from less than a metre out as well as a Andrew Lorimer reverse stick strike in the dying seconds which looked destined to go in.
Jack Sturgeon and Matty Sykes pressed hard upfront and ran well. Harry Appleby was solid at the back and Danny Foster distributed well. Aaron Terry played superbly in midfield, linking defence with attack.
Billy Hagan worked tirelessly and created a few chances which others couldn't convert.
