LEO Diffey is proving to be a big hit for Prince Henry's Grammar School.

The Year 7 pupil produced a magnificent innings of 110 not out to help his school beat Bradford Grammar in the Bunbury’s Cricket Cup.

He took just 63 balls to score his runs, hitting 24 fours, as Prince Henry’s overtook a creditable score of 160 by their opponents in the Twenty20 match.

“It was amazing to watch” said Dean Hyam, Area Leader of PE and the team's coach.

“At one point, Leo hit five fours in one over. It was a real display of quality cricket, he is a very talented player. "Obviously, it’s early days in his career at Prince Henry’s but, combined with some sterling batting support from Freddie Roden and Dominic Tinslay, it looks like the future is exciting.”
