Ilkley's Arundale reaches100 points in Indonesia defeat

Ilkley scrum half Kirk Arundale scored 12 points but could not save Indonesia from defeat in their opening HSBC Asian 5 Nations Division Three game in Kuala Lumpur today.

Arundale scored a try as well as kicking two conversions and a penalty in Indonesia's 38-17 defeat by Guam The 26-year-old, who was winning his 15th cap, has now taken his individual points tally in the HSBC Asian 5 Nations championship past the 100 mark.

Indonesia will meet Pakistan, defeated 34-5 by India,in the play off for third place on Friday.

Arundale's young Ilkley team mate Temour Ahmed was invited to play for Pakistan but had to decline due to his studies.
