SINCE winning the West Yorkshire League Premier Division title in 2014-15, Field haven't really pulled up that many trees in what is a competitive environment.

They were third and fourth in the following two seasons and seventh in 2017-18, with Carlton Athletic again dominating.

However, the mid-table Hollingwood Lane club gave a hint of better things to come this season with a 6-0 triumph at leaders Beeston St Anthony's, their second defeat in nine matches.

On target for the visitors were Tom Ponter (2), Josh Milner, Dan Nolan, Jake Taylor and substitute Eli Petchschak, although the Beeston players admitted afterwards that, for once, the hosts lacked desire, passion and were, unforgivably, uninterested.

Wyke Wanderers were another happy Bradford club, defeating second-placed visitors Whitkirk Wanderers 1-0, courtesy of Dillon Hollinger.

Ilkley Town drew 3-3 at home to Hunslet Club, but Salts had a day to forget, losing 7-1 at Horbury Town.

Hartshead, who won 5-0 at Rothwell, are up to third in Division One, while next-to-bottom hosts Oxenhope Rec recovered from a 2-0 half-time deficit to draw 2-2 against leaders Hall Green United.

Pool, whose goals came from Ryan Firth (2) and Josh Waite, triumphed 3-2 at home to Featherstone Colliery, who had Scott Elam dismissed in the 89th minute.

Laurence Sorhaindo was on target again for Campion in their 4-1 Division Two victory at Brighouse Old Boys.

His brace for the second-placed visitors took his tally for the season to 17, while Matt Britton and Mason Butterfield were also on the scoresheet.

Hartshead won 5-2 at home to Aberford Albion in Alliance Division One, while Ilkley Town are the new front-runners in Division Two following a 2-1 derby win at Otley Town.

James Hudson was among the Ilkley scorers after they trailed 1-0 at half-time.

Tom Midgley got the consolation goal for Pool in their 2-1 defeat at Howden Clough.
