DALES Council League A Division leaders Leeds Sikh are back among the runs.

They made 299-5 at Meanwood Road, with skipper Raghunath Chandrasekaran contributing 82 and Amrit Bhogal 64 before Kanwardeep Singh (52no) and Harcharan Seehra (48no) put on an unbroken 104 for the sixth wicket.

They then dismissed Bradford Moor for 142 (Harcharan Seehra 4-45).

Second-placed Woodhouse have suffered only their second defeat in 12 matches.

Halifax Direct made 206-9 (Asad Rashid 49) at Karmand and then dismissed Woodhouse for 178 (Muhammad Sohail 64, Syed Fakhar Abbas 50).

Thornbury are the new second-placed club after toppling Drighlington for 87 (Uzmat Munir 6-22) at Station Road, replying with 90-3 in just 11.2 overs.

There was a tight match at the Roundhay Oval, where New Wortley were bowled out for 178 (Shazaib Ayub 59, Tarik Sajid Malik 5-55) by Crompark, who replied with 182-9 (Majid Hussain 59, Malik T Khan 49).

It was also tense at Clariant, where Cookridge scored 159 before bowling out bottom club Farsley for 138 (Jamie Blackburn 66).

However, it was much more straightforward at the Scott Hall Oval, where Savile Stars continued their slump by being bowled out for 132 by Leeds Caribbean, who replied with 133-2 to make it four wins in a row.

B Division leaders Mayfield travelled to Smithy Lane and rattled up 272-6 (Antony Moss 59), with Paul Cuthbertson (104no) and Mohammed Faisal (69) putting on 103 for the sixth wicket before bowling out third-placed Cookridge B for 163, with Rameez Khan scoring a remarkable 104 of the 118 scored while he was at the crease.

St Chads Broomfield had a collapse that England would have been proud of, going from 86-3 to 101 (Saad Qureshi 3-6), losing their last four wickets at that total.

Thornbury B replied with 105-3 in 13.5 overs.

Pudsey St Lawrence were bowled out for 202 (Sam McEvoy 55, Vajinder Singh 4-49) at Gledhow by Leeds Sikh B, who scored 204-5 (Vakash Mason 51, Gus Rathore 51) after tea.

Halifax Direct B stretched their winning run to six games by scoring 213 (Tanvir Afzal 45) and then castling Pudsey Congs for 82.

Adel scored 183 at Church Lane before bowling out Drighlington B for 108, while there was a better contest at Sunnybank, where Baildon made 185-9 (Ashley Free 51, Tawseef Ahmed 46, Islam Khokar 4-30) against Muff Field, who replied with 186-7 (Alan Broadbent 44).

One Stop continue to make good totals in C Division, this time making 294 (Umar Malik 65, Praveenkumar Araram 52, Bilhal Akhtar 4-61) at Low Springs, but they were unable to bowl out Cookridge C, who held out for 148-8 (Adrian Kilvington 51) to deny the hosts full bowling points.

Second-placed Morley gained 18 points when Leeds Caribbean B conceded for the second week in a row.

Tong Park Esholt's Lee Burke (75no) was the dominant figure at Mayfield Terrace, where the hosts were restricted to 108-7 in their 45 overs by third-placed TPE, who replied with 109-2 in 15 overs.

Muff Field B were bowled out for 69 at Salts Sports by Shipley Providence, who knocked off the runs for the loss of four wickets.
