SAM Smith continued his excellent cross-country season by becoming Yorkshire Under-15 Boys' fell champion.
The race, held at the Yorkshire Fell Championship at Meltham near Holmfirth on Saturday, May 26, was the fourth English championship counter.
Sam, a member of Wharfedale Harriers, has already secured his place as champion with two races still to go, and has won three races and come second in one so can not be beaten.
