OTLEY and Prince Henry's Grammar School Old Boys served up another Boxing Day treat at Cross Green.

The home side triumphed 46-32 in a free-flowing game, but it was fitting that the final try was scored by Paddy Ziegler for the Old Boys as he was the best mate of Year 13 student Jack Hurst, who died in October after being diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2015.

The £3,000 raised on the day will be split between the Teenage Cancer Trust and the school, who will use the cash for drainage work on their front pitch.

Such was the clamour to play in the match that Nathan Rogers even travelled up from Jersey to feature for the Old Boys, who were captained by Old Otliensians' Sam Featherstone, while Simon Willet skippered Otley, whose forwards held sway.
