Ilkley Dynamo 3 Keighley Town 2
DYNAMO produced their best performance of the year to end the Premier Division leaders' unbeaten record.
Pepped up by their cup victory in their previous game, Dynamo were rarely troubled in the early exchanges.
Decisive in attack and dominant in possession both Stuart Blues and Geno White were particularly effective for the home side.
Henry Barrow hit a fine strike to put the hosts 1-0 ahead early on. The impressive Danny Bryan was central to their approach with his pace and control vital whenever Dynamo were under pressure.
The slippery movement of Benji Claydon constantly troubled the visitors and some promising touches by Jonny Bowers who was leading the line for the first time at centre forward, ensured Dynamo stayed ahead for more than 80 minutes.
However, two quick breakaway goals from Joe Drake and Danny McHugh suddenly put the visitors 2-1 in front against the run of play.
Dynamo kept their discipline and shape and roared back thanks to a powerful strike from Mike Gandy who made it 2-2 before a late headed goal from the outstanding central defender Sam Webster gave Dynamo a particularly notable but hard-earned victory.
