IT WAS a lovely evening for the Ilkley Incline race with lots of familiar faces and a very high quality field.

There was quite a battle for first place between Tom Adams from Ilkley and James Hall from Wharfedale Harriers, with James just managing to edge a second ahead of Tom, closely followed by Jack Wood and Robert Little.

Ilkley's Jemima Elgood was first lady home with Lucy Haines and Laura King also running superbly. Ewan Walsh finished in under ten minutes and was first V50. A big thanks to Helen Waddington and all the other helpers for organising the race.
