ALL Rounder Cricket Bradford Premier League Championship Division Two leaders Hartshead Moor wasted little time in recording their 14th win of the season.

Opening bowlers Danny Squire (5-16) and Iain Wardlaw (5-27) skittled Idle for 49 as Moor romped to a nine-wicket victory.

The previous week Keighley defeated table-topping Hartshead Moor, but this time the tables were turned on them as bottom side Brighouse beat them by seven wickets.

Keighley looked to have set a challenging target when Andrew Wear (68) and Luke Chapman (32) helped them to 193, with Adil Mehmood (4-33) and Sunny Matharu (3-37) proving to be the best of the Brighouse bowlers.

The visitors also looked to be in trouble when they slipped to 25-2, but after Mohammad Abrar (33) had steadied the innings, Sohail Hussain (75no) and Wajid Hussain (66no) took Brighouse to a fine victory.

Second-placed Hunslet Nelson boosted their promotion challenge with a hard-earned two-wicket win over Liversedge.

Jack Scanlon made an important 52 as Nelson staved off the threat of Asif Ali (4-34) to pass the Liversedge total of 156-8.

Ali is certainly a key man for Liversedge.

The overseas player top-scored with 56 in their innings, which also included 40 from Jonny Trevitt.

Rakesh Seecharan (3-38) and Asim Iqbal (3-42) were the best of the Nelson bowlers.

Northowram Fields are just three points behind after their 77-run win over Buttershaw St Paul's.

Half-centuries from Ben Grech (78) and Bradley Hauenstein (56) helped Northowram to 216-8, despite the efforts of James Sawyer (4-72).

St Paul's were bowled out for 139 in reply as Hauenstein (3-15), Ashton Richardson (3-26) and Zafar Khan (3-29) got to work.

That man Farroukh Alam was again a key figure as Altofts defeated Spen Victoria by three wickets.

He took 4-45 and followed up with 57 as his side overhauled the home side's 187.

George Deegan (59), skipper Oliver Davison (49) and Peter Jackson (38) were the main contributors for lowly Spen Victoria, and Luke Whitmore (3-41) gave Alam support with the ball while Qamar Shahzad (31) backed him up with the bat.

Spen's most successful bowler was Fehsal Rajput (3-19).

Umar Abbas returned match-winning figures of 6-32 as Hopton Mills dismissed Carlton for 91 to complete an emphatic 147-run win.

Half-centuries from Chris Scott (62) and John Bowett (55) helped Mills to 238-7 batting first, with Arman Hussain taking 3-82 for Carlton.
