Field Reserves moved up to third place in West Yorkshire League Alliance Division One following their 4-1 victory at Leeds Modernians Reserves.

Jack Webster came off the substitutes' bench to score twice and Field's other goals came from Glyn Hirst and Liam Lambert.

Field are ten points behind leaders Beeston St. Anthony's Reserves, but have two games in hand on the Leeds-based team.

The League Cup tie between Field and unbeaten Carlton Athletic was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Hollingwood Lane.

The tie has been re-arranged for Wednesday, March 8, again at Field (7.30pm).

Wyke Wanderers' first and reserve-team matches were postponed due to a stag trip in Tenerife, while Baildon Trinity Athletic's Division Two match at Ossett Albion was postponed due to an unfit pitch.

On Wednesday, the West Yorkshire League will play the York Minster Engineering League in an inter-league friendly match at Nostell Miners' Welfare (7.45pm).
