Saltaire (Salts) 1 Ilkley Dynamo 3
Playing only their second game in the last eight weeks, Dynamo brushed off the cobwebs to record a Wharfedale Triangle double over Saltaire.
During the opening stages they put their opponents under heavy pressure with their attacking play.
The breakthrough was supplied by Danny Bott who hit a powerful shot after some excellent passing involving Tom Rennolds and Dom Grimes.
Despite dominating possession, a sequence of chances were squandered.
The whole team created some fluent interchanges to ensure Dynamo maintained control with centre back Ollie Blair marshalling the defence well.
Salts soaked up the pressure before a quick break forward enabled Matt Murphy to level matters at 1-1.
Ross Wilson crowned an outstanding performance from Dynamo when he gave them the lead.
Rising high at a corner, he netted with the firmest of headers, Dynamo threatened to squander the lead again before wrapping up the game.
After Danny Henderson had been upended in the penalty area with appeals ignored, Chris Holmes cleverly found some space, accelerated clear then squeezed a low shot into the net.
