GRADE Two gymnasts Ellis Jalil and Lola Summerson struck gold for Ilkley Gymnastics Club in their first-ever competition together.
They performed impressively to take top place in the Yorkshire Acrobatic Gymnastic Championships at Barnsley Metrodome.
Ben McManus and Mathew Burnham also came away with gold at Grade One, while Hayley Brooks and Ella Shuttleworth placed third in the extremely competitive Grade Four women's pairs category.
Notably Hayley and Ella came away with one of the highest artistry scores of the entire two-day competition, thanks to their unique choreography and confident artistic performance on the floor.
Competition squad coach Nicola Robinson said: "I was very pleased with the performances from our gymnasts over this event. We now will be focussing our efforts on preparing for March's British final qualification competition".
The names of the two gymnasts in the first picture are Ella Shuttleworth and Hayley Brooks. In the second picture Ben McManus, Anna Mulligan, Mathew Burnham, Imogen Sellers, Helena Barlow, Eshaal Ali, Maddie Hicks, Ellis Jalil, Lola Summerson, Katherine Duffield. There were another 18 gymnasts that also took part in the competition from the club, a total of 30 gymnasts.
