TODAY'S Aegon British Tour men's singles final at Ilkley will be an all-Sunderland affair.

But the players are at opposite ends of their careers, with 17-year-old qualifier Daniel Bennett facing 31-year-old fellow non-seed Adam Barratclough.

Bennett, who has already won seven matches to reach the decider, defeated holder Clay Crawford, the second seed from Leeds, 4-6, 6-3, 10-4 (super tie-break) in one semi-final, while Barratclough beat top seed Peter Ashley from Cookridge, a semi-finalist last year, 6-4, 6-0 in the other.

Barratclough has already disposed of three seeds en route to the final, while Bennett has beaten two.

The men's singles final is at 2pm, and preceding it at noon will be the women's singles final between fifth seed Holly Horsfall and seventh seed Sophie Watts.

Horsfall, who is from Hepworth, near Holmfirth, beat fellow 17-year-old, eighth seed Holly Hutchinson (Middlesex) 7-6 (7-3), 6-2 in the top half of the draw, while 20-year-old Watts had an identical scoreline, apart from the tie-break (8-6), in her semi-final against 16-year-old Florence Abbott from Kent.
