Ilkley Dynamo 5 Horsforth St Margaret's 2

DYNAMO took their unbeaten run to three games after a late surge gave them a comprehensive home Premier Division victory over Horsforth St Margaret's.

The visitors forced the early pace and Shane Etherington was forced to produce an outstanding save to keep matters even. However, this early Horsforth pressure was eventually rewarded when Glen Ford put them 1-0 ahead after only 15 minutes.

Dynamo had not played for three weeks but they soon clicked into gear and began to perform with much more flexibility and agility.

Their vigorous competitiveness soon produced a breakthrough when they were awarded a penalty which Tom Higman despatched with ease.

Sam Jacomb produced some neat football in defence as the whole team began to press the ball and close down the space.

A fine run by Danny Bott, resulted in a pin-point pass to Danny Bryan who produced a superb burst of attacking football to glide past three players and score with a powerful drive to make it 2-1. This was a fitting reward in his 100th appearance for Dynamo.

Horsforth showed why they had only lost three league games this season.when Mike Lee hit a deflected shot into the net to make it 2-2.

Dynamo then began to play some accomplished football and their high-energy performance, coupled with some intelligent movement, resulted in them twice hitting the woodwork.

Another fine run from Ross Wilson led to him scoring his 13th goal of the season to make it 3-2,

Two well-worked goals from Danny Kenna and Luke Bott sealed Dynamo's win.
