Cullingworth 3 Ilkley Dynamo 5

CHAMPIONS Dynamo returned to winning ways after a hard-fought Wharfedale Triangle Premier Division victory away at Cullingworth.

Despite not being at their sparkling best for long periods they eventually upped their game and took control on a poor surface.

Captain Craig Bentham, a major influence in midfield, opened the scoring early on. Danny Henderson quickly added a second goal, his 16th of the season.

Dynamo keeper Rob Powell had a few saves to make before Cullingworth pulled a goal back as they continued to cause Dynamo problems with quick breakaways.

Ilkley increased the intensity of their play and dominated possession, with Bentham adding his second of the game to make it 3-1.

The home side continued to compete with energy and determination.

They added two quick goals against the run of play to make it 3-3 as Dynamo began to lose their grip on the game.

The impressive work rate of Danny Bott was a critical factor for the visitors. They pushed forward with more urgency and commitment.

Ross Wilson relieved the pressure for Dynamo by reacting the quickest to a rebound to put his side 4-3 ahead.

Danny Bryan, whose close control and touch had seen him on the end of some tough tackling, wrapped things up by adding the fifth goal.
