ENGLAND coach Stuart Lancaster's sell-out talk at Ilkley Rugby Club tomorrow night (7.30) will revive some memories.

Lancaster and Ilkley head coach Rhys Morgan used to be team-mates at Leeds Carnegie, but, more than that, when Morgan was a young coach at Harrogate, he tried to sign the Headingley back-rower.

Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately!), Lancaster suffered an injury that led to him taking up coaching, and the rest, as they say, is history.

"A Night with Stuart Lancaster" is the story of his life and times, and includes videos. This section will last about 45 minutes, and there will be a short breaks for drinks and food before a 20-minute question-and-answer session, although questions on individual England selections are banned!

Meanwhile, Lancaster will also be a guest speaker at Otley Rugby Club's 150th anniversary dinner dance at the Queens Hotel in Leeds on Friday, May 8 next year (7.30pm).

Also speaking are former British & Irish Lions head coach Sir Ian McGeechan, who is now executive chairman at Yorkshire Carnegie, and former Otley and England scrum half Nigel Melville, who is now chief executive officer of USA Rugby.

Tickets are £80 or £150 (corporate) and are available from 01132-508680 or orufc150th@gmail.com.
