ILKLEY Harriers Lucy Haines and Ruaridh Mon-Williams made their England debuts on Saturday in the British and Irish Junior Mountain Running Championships and Home Countries' International.
Both were competing for the B team at Glendalough in Ireland, and Lucy finished seventh in the under-17 girls' race in 23min 25sec, and was her highest-placed team member.
Ruaridh, 16, was 17th in the under-17 boys' race in 26min 30sec, being fourth home for his team and also defeating an England A runner.
