Ben Rhydding Hockey Club is celebrating its first national title in its 113-year history.
They beat Harleston Magpies 2-0 to win the NOW Pensions Masters Over 50’s Cup at Highfield Sports Centre Nottingham with two goals goals by Dave Cutter Skipper Andy Locke’s rallying call was answered on the day in fine style.
Locke was responsible for masterminding a defensive shut out, as goalkeeper Richard Terry had one of his quietest days in goal.
