Guiseley have another must-win game tomorrow night as they look to keep hold of the last play-off place in Skrill Conference North.

The Lions host struggling Gainsborough Trinity but boss Mark Bower is insisting that his side will take nothing for granted.

Fifth-placed Guiseley are unbeaten in their last dozen league games, and the last two were huge victories, scoring 11 goals and conceding just once.

In contrast, Trinity have picked up just two points from their last seven games, but even so the pressure is all on Bower’s men.

Guiseley are just one point above Boston United but the Lincolnshire outfit have played one game more. However, the Lions are just two points behind Lee Sinnott’s Altrincham on the same number of games.

Brighouse Town are also right in the middle of a promotion push and, like neighbours Guiseley, they also improved their position at the weekend.

Town won 5-2 to consolidate second place in the Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division, while leaders Tadcaster Albion were losing 1-0 at home.

With only one promotion place on offer in the division, Town need to seal the title to be sure of going up.

They host struggling neighbours Liversedge tomorrow night, with the incentive that they will go top with a win. Brighouse are still two points behind Taddy but have three games in hand.
