Keighley Town 1 Ilkley Dynamo 4

Dynamo produced a quality performance to inflict a heavy defeat on the Premier Division leaders.

Dynamo played with intensity and spirit throughout and their imaginative movement and passing made them difficult to contain.

Despite Dynamo’s fine play, Keighley carved out a couple of good chances and took the lead when Declan Smith headed home direct from a free kick.

Despite this setback Dynamo maintained their slick and efficient approach work with Simon Walker and Sam Jacomb both making solid defensive contributions.

The predatory instincts of Luke Hudson were rewarded when he pounced on a defensive error and expertly found the net with an acute-angle shot.

Further neat work from Danny Henderson found an unmarked Danny Bryan, who curved an exquisite shot past the stranded goalkeeper to put Dynamo 2-1 up.

Within minutes the Dynamo keeper Shane Etherington pushed a powerful shot around the post to keep the visitors ahead.

Dynamo dominated the second half with continual high-pressure attacks combined with some good speed and fluency.

Captain Craig Bentham gave another outstanding performance while Michael Bloom and Liam Hudson, who was playing only his second game for the club, also helped to thwart any sporadic Keighley threats.

Danny Bott, impressive in midfield, was rewarded when he spotted the home keeper off his line and scored with a superb volley.

Dynamo missed a number of presentable opportunities before Bott took his tally for the season to eight with a well-struck effort.
