Addingham’s talented young rider Edward Earle was in good form at Silsden at the weekend.
He took the Youth Class C honours in Saturday’s Autowbars Championship trial on Saturday and repeated the feat in Sunday’s club trial, both promoted by the Bradford DMC at the Rough Holden Venue.
Such was the form of Earle and fellow youth riders Harry Heming-way and Alfie Lampkin that they pushed the adults for the top honours in the Autow- bars event which was won by Gary Rush-ton.
Glusburn’s Nathan Wrigglesworth took the top honours in Sunday’s Bradford DMC Club trial.
He recorded eight penalties on the hard course to hold off the challenge of Trawden’s Ross Crosby.
Eccleshill schoolboy Kieran Child grabbed third place. He pipped Crossroads’ expert rider Phil Disney by a single penalty.
Horsforth’s Simon Armstrong and Halifax Clubman A contender Neil Wright won the easy and clubman classes.
