St Oswald's book sale raises £144
A book sale at St Oswald's School in Guiseley raised £144 for a charity which aims to promote literacy in developing countries.
Youngsters donated books to sell to fellow pupils and raise funding for Book Aid International which aims to promote literacy in developing countries.
A spokeswoman for the school said: "The sale went well, many enthusiastic children brought in books then manned the stall giving up their break times all for the goal of raising money for Book Aid International. The money raised will be sent to them so they are able to buy precious resources for eager to learn pupils."
