Addingham pupils give top performance

ADDINGHAM Primary School celebrated World Book Day in style, enjoying a drama club presentation based on Michelle Magorians famous children's novel.
The Year Five and Six pupils studied Goodnight Mr Tom during the autumn term and we so inspired by the wartime story that they developed their own production.
Staff and children from the drama club planned and practised improvisation, mime, dance and narration to bring the story alive and generous families donated period pieces as props.
The atmosphere was enhanced by the inclusion of music from the war time era making the performance of William a fitting celebration for World Book Day.
