The Ilkley Gazette has teamed up with National Express East Coast to bring you an amazing rail offer for travel this summer.

There are thousands of discounted Advance fares available just for you, such as Leeds to London for just £8 and Bradford to London for just £10 one-way in Standard Class.

Enter your journey details and the 'lowest fare finder' will guide you to the best available price for your journey.

To qualify for these extra-special fares, you need to collect four tokens from the Ilkley Gazette. Two tokens will be printed on July 2 and another two on July 9. What’s more, with one set of tokens up to four people can travel together.

The reader offer fares are available for travel between July 23 and September 18, 2009, on off-peak services, with limited availability on Friday and Sunday afternoons.

At such great prices, we are expecting a high response with the biggest demand for travel at weekends, so if you can travel midweek you will have more choice.

August 28 to 31 inclusive are excluded from the promotion.

To give you greater choice and flexibility all Advance tickets are sold as single fares, allowing you to choose the lowest available prices for every stage of your journey. This means you can select the reader offer fare on the outward journey and, if the return train of your choice is unavailable, you can select the best fare shown.

This mix and match option will give you even greater opportunities to travel at a great price.

Seats are subject to availability and bookings for the reader offer fares must be made three weeks in advance, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Please note that engineering work may take place on some weekends during this promotion that may affect journey times. Information will be available from our website at the time of booking.

This offer cannot be booked by phone or at stations and please note you cannot access the reader offer booking pages through Google or similar site searches.

When you travel, you must take your tickets and tokens with you. You will be asked to produce the tokens for inspection on the train. Bookings open on July 2 and close at midnight July 13, 2009.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

In addition to the National Rail Conditions of Carriage, the following conditions apply

* Offer is only available to holders of the appropriate number of tokens; these must be taken on the journey for inspection on the train. If you are unable to present the tokens when requested you will be liable to pay the balance of the full fare for the journey, this applies to each ticket booked under the offer. A set of tokens can only be used for one return journey (for up to four people travelling together), if you plan to use this offer more than once you will need a complete set of tokens for each return journey you make.

* Bookings for the Reader Offer fare must be made three weeks in advance and can only be purchased on-line at thetelegraphandargus.co.uk. Major credit, debit and charge cards are accepted. Once a booking is made no refunds or changes will be allowed.

* Travel is only permitted on the National Express East Coast service on which you are reserved; no break of journey is allowed, except to change to/from connecting trains where these are shown on your ticket or itinerary.

* There is no child, Railcard or other promotional discounts available with this offer. Under 5’s travel free if they do not occupy a seat.
