Ciara will take starring role at Addingham Gala
THIS year's Addingham Gala Queen is 12-year-old Ciara O'Neill.
She will take centre stage at the annual event after being chosen for the role at a disco at the village Memorial Hall.
Ciara will be attended by Saffron Cockcroft, nine, and seven-year-olds Holly Park, Ben Cowling and Harry Parker.
The theme for this year's gala, which takes place on Saturday, July 12, is Inventors and Explorers.
The popular event will bring Addingham alive with expeditions to far-flung places of the universe, mad professors and ideas that changed the world.
