ILKLEY Camera Club completed its season last week with a dinner and celebration of another successful year.
Members and their guests had an opportunity to honour 30 associates who had enjoyed success in open competitions throughout the year.
Two special awards were presented to long-serving members of the committee who are now stepping down from any formal position of office.
Dr Ian Strang received a special award in recognition of 26 years as treasurer of Ilkley Camera Club. Dr Strang is a past president and has been a member since 1963.
Honoured with a Life President nomination was Chris Flanders who has just completed his second term as president.
Chris has been a member since 1977 and served on the committee for all but one of those years.
The Camera Club will start its next season at 7.30pm at Church House, Church Street, on September 19. The Camera Art exhibition continues to attract visitors.
The exhibition of over 100 prints plus a digital sequence of members' work is open every day except Monday, and will remain open until May 11.
Each Saturday there is a 45 minute demonstration of digital image manipulation by a member of the camera club.
