Otley man returns to UK after five months in Greek prison

An Otley man stuck in a Greek jail for almost five months has arrived back in the United Kingdom.
Leeds North West MP Greg Mulholland says his constituent Fran Prenga has finally been released by authorities in Greece, weeks after being found innocent of more than 70 charges of armed robbery in Athens in 2004 and 2005.
Mr Mulholland has joined forces with Mr Prenga’s family to help secure the 34-year-old’s release.
“I am pleased that the worst part of this ordeal is now over for Fran and that he is once again at home in Otley amongst loving friends and family,” he said.
