Denton Hall wedding fair offer for help on the big day

The ever-popular Ilkley Gazette and Wharfedale Observer Wedding Fair returns this weekend with everything needed to plan for the big day.

More than 30 exhibitors will be at Denton Hall, Denton, on Sunday for the fair, which is one of the biggest in the area.

Stands from bridal shops, menswear, cars, cakes, florists, jewellers and photographers will all be at the event, which runs from 11am to 3pm. There will also be a saxophonist and harpist playing on the day.

And there is the chance to win for every bride registered on the day.

They will receive a £100 Thomas Cook voucher and they will also be entered into a competition to win a honeymoon to the Maldives, in association with Kuoni honeymoons the Wedding Guide.

Goody bags will also be on offer to the first 50 brides through the door, and the event is free to all readers.

Hundreds of visitors are expected at the fair. At the previous event in March, more 70 brides registered and there were more than 225 visitors.

The fair is being sponsored by Denton Hall and Box Tree Events.

As well as the beautiful setting of Denton Hall, amid 2,500 acres of the Yorkshire Dales, the church in Denton village will also be open for brides and grooms to have a look around.
